Great day to be outside!

We always seem to spend a lot of time outside, which is even more enjoyable on a gorgeous day like today. We were out after lunch having popsicles and blowing bubbles. Makes you glad to be alive and thankful to our great Creator. Oh, and speaking of which, congrats to my friend Jeanette who gave birth to her son, Keller, this morning. Ayers and Addie Grace will make fabulous big sisters!

Super Sports Saturday

Yesterday we went to Birmingham to see my sister and her family who we had not seen since January! We were able to go to Andrew's t-ball game, Allison's soccer game, and melted down before making it to Mike's baseball game. The cousins had a blast playing all day and everyone was quite worn out by last night. Hopefully it won't be so long before we are all together again!

We also had a mini-birthday celebration for Allison who turns 10 on Wednesday.

Grandma comes to visit!

My mom flew up to visit us over the weekend and was able to cheer on Tate at one of his first soccer games. It is pretty funny to watch a team of 3 and 4 year-olds run after the ball not really knowing what to do with it. We also took my mom to watch the boys swim in the indoor pool at the Y. We had a great time and look forward to another visit from Grandma this summer.

Some coaching from daddy...

Two happy boys after having fun at the pool...
We also went to Kristie Morley's baby shower, my mom teaches with her mom down in Orlando.

Running Rams

This past weekend I flew down to Orlando to run the Winter Park 10K with my high school friends, Jenny and Heather, and my dad. We met our goal of running it in under an hour, although Heather showed Jenny and I up and left us in her dust. My dad improved upon his time also and was questionally jipped with a time of 1:00:01. After the race we went out to New Smyrna beach, just like old times, and even wrapped up our beach day with a trip to Frozen Gold. Maybe it will become a new spring tradition, although we may have to work around babies and pregnancies (not for Dad of course:)

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter in Georgia with the Alstons and were able to spend time with Mary Grace, Marcus, and Neely who we had not seen since Christmas. It becomes more and more fun for the cousins to get together as everyone gets older and able to play together more. We enjoyed the beautiful weather by taking the kids to run around at Callaway Gardens, and of course dyed eggs and had an Easter egg hunt. We all went to church together this morning where the kids got even more loaded up with candy:)

Neely does not want Miller coming after her eggs!

Spring Break Fun

Since the boys did not have preschool this week, we decided to go on a couple of small adventures. We went to feed the ducks earlier in the week, even though it was cold and windy and not quite the perfect day for it.

Tate also chased the ducks...

Today we had an Easter Egg hunt at Mary Ivy's house. We rewarded the hard work of hunting eggs with decorating cookies.

When we prayed the other night Tate thanked God that there was no more school, but I was quick to remind him that he just didn't have school this week. He really does love school but seems to think that every week would be this fun if he was always at home:)
