Sharks in Chattanooga!

We had a great "Friday Fun" date again with our friends Ayers and Addie Grace yesterday. We went to the Tennessee Aquarium to see all of the fish, penquins, and sharks. The sharks were the boys favorites! We finished off the day playing in the water and fountains outside.

Labor Day on the Lake

We had a great Labor Day weekend with my sister and her fam at their new lakehouse. All of the cousins swam and played all day. And, the highlight was Travis dropping Miller off of the top of the boathouse, Tate knew better than to try it:)

Highlands, NC

We just returned from a relaxing weekend in Highlands, NC with the Alstons. The boys had a fun time playing with Neely and we enjoyed the cooler mountain air!

Funny Times

Life with boys can be pretty entertaining. Just recently Miller scattered Kleenex everywhere and was quite proud of himself. And then Tate transferred the "googly" eyes from an alligator he made at school onto his own eyes. He thought it was hilarious!

Birthdays and Bicycles

Travis turned 31 this week and we celebrated with cupcakes that Tate helped to make. Miller had a great time making a big mess with his icing!




The other excitement of the week has been Tate's first bicycle! It is a Hot Wheels bike, of course, and he is doing a great job learning to ride.

Adios to Al

My brother Alex is heading west this coming weekend and we were all able to spend some time together in Birmingham last Friday. He and his wife Ashley are moving to Denver at the end of the month. We will miss seeing him but look forward to having a fun place to visit!

Birthday Time!

Tate and Miller's cousin Neely turned one on July 7th and we went to Tuscaloosa to help her celebrate. The theme was Strawberry Shortcake, since Miss Neely is such a cute redhead. We had a great time seeing the fam!
