Girls Weekend

I had a great weekend in Birmingham with two of my best friends from college, Lis and Amy. We all seemed to need some time away and thoroughly enjoyed having a relaxing weekend together. We went over to Samford's campus to walk down memory lane and wondered how we are now so old!! We are hoping to plan another getaway again soon, it really does wonders for our sanity:)

Weekend with Friends

We went to Nashville for the weekend to see our friends Brent and Julie and meet their new baby girl, Sims. Travis and Brent played golf Saturday morning and Julie and I got manicures in the afternoon. The boys ran around like crazy and Tate taught their son, Boone, how to play the Wii. We came home to a rainy afternoon and now we are all tired:) But, the time together was well worth it!

Easter Fun

We had a great week last week celebrating Easter at school and church with friends and family. Tate and Miller had an Easter program at school and then hunted eggs on their playground. My mom was here for her spring break, so she was able to join in on the fun. On Sunday we had a delicious lunch with some friends from church. It was wonderful way to celebrate our Savior!

Thomas the Train

On Friday, my sister and I took the kids to ride on Thomas the Train. With kindergarten quickly approaching for Tate, I am making the most of our fun Fridays before "big school" begins. The weather was a little chilly, but that didn't seem to dampen anyones spirits for the day. We had a great time!
