Tate and Miller's G-ma and Pop came to spend the weekend with us. We took a couple of family photos after church and then of course the boys wanted to show off their newly acquired golf skills. We all had a great time together!

Weekend with Friends
Our friends from Nashville, Brent and Julie, came to visit us and play this past weekend along with their 2 year old son, Boone. We took the boys downtown to feed the ducks and they also got to see the fire trucks parked at the station. We always enjoy our time together and the boys have fun too.
We found time for some wrestling, too!
Also, Miller turned 2 1/2 last week and to commemorate the day he decided to start riding his bike. He just jumped on and started to peddle. He was very proud of himself and of course Tate and I celebrated with him.

Brotherly Love
Both Tate and Miller are taking tumbling on Monday nights (maybe I will post some pictures of that hilarity some day) They really think it is fun and I bought them some new shorts to wear for their classes since we cannot have boys wearing leotards:) They thought it was great that they were in somewhat matching clothes. It made for such a cute picture that I couldn't resist!

San Fran
Travis and I spent a long weekend in San Francisco celebrating our 10 year anniversary...I can't believe it has been 10 years!! Travis went out there ahead of me and played a couple of rounds at Pebble Beach which may be the greatest moment in golfing for him. We had a wonderful time sightseeing in San Francisco, it was my first trip to California and first time seeing the Pacific Ocean. We really just enjoyed spending the time together and did a ton of walking!
Of course there was no shortage of fog...
The seals down at the pier
We also went to a Giants/Dodgers game...here is Travis with the ultimate super fan...
We went across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, which is my idea of heaven on earth. We had breakfast there at a little coffee shop on the water. If I ever turn up missing, this should be the first place to look:)
We also visited Muir Woods to see the redwoods. Even if you are not a nature lover, or tree hugger, these trees are still pretty impressive. Unfortunately nobody seems to give God any credit for these giant displays of His Creation in any literature at the park. Travis and I were doing our best to keep them from falling:)

Golfing with Daddy
Yesterday afternoon we took the boys to the driving range for the first time with their new golf clubs. I went along as the photographer and as a safety measure to make sure no one was accidently clobbered:) Both boys had a great time and it is always such fun to see their desire to be like their Daddy. Tate woke up this morning asking if he could go back to the golf course. I told Travis that he may have created a monster to which he replied, "Fine with me!"
