Last week we had a fun visit from our friend Melissa and her son Lance. Tate kept both Lance and Miller very entertained. On a rare rainy day we set up a tent inside for the boys to play in. They thought is was quite hilarious!
We also went down to B'ham to have a tour of the SU campus and met up with our friend Travis. The boys loved him and he was right at home having everyone crawl up in his lap:)
At the end of the week, Travis and I met up in Philadelphia to see the sights...we had a great time and the weather was beautiful.

Zoo Date
This past Friday Tate and Miller had a date to the Birmingham Zoo with our friends Ayers and Addie Grace. We had a great day despite a few raindrops. Here are a few highlights...
Tate played in the water fountains, but Miller had more fun walking around the water and watching Tate.
Feeding the lorikeets..
Hooray for a fun day at the zoo! And, Miller and Addie Grace all worn out.

Beach Week
We have just returned from Seagrove Beach for Memorial Day and the week following which my dad has dubbed "McCoys in the Sun". Tate and Miller had a blast will all of their cousins and Tate got braver and braver actually getting knee-deep in the ocean by the end of the week. Miller was not too sure of the sand, but did a great job navigating with beach with his newly acquired walking skills.
We also celebrated my 31st birthday by going to 331 on Sunday and having a cookout and cake on my actual birthday which was Monday. Tate had a great time helping me blow out the candles but was quite disapointed that I did not have Spiderman on my cake:)
The final highlight was getting to see our college friends Amy and Brad Pimpson, I mean Simpson. Tate and their daughter Lolly had a blast dancing to the live music at the Baytowne Wharf.
